    Designed for the Journeyman, Rigger Level 2 training teaches rigging principles and methods. You will learn calculating methods, job planning hitches, lift plans, load turning, and pre-use inspections. This training course covers the following topics:

  • D/d ratios
  • Below the hook lifter applications
  • Rigging hardware and rating charts
  • Load angle factors and how to calculate the tension

    8 Hour Class Including Exam

  • Load testing of your lifting beam fixture or device including small jib cranes.

    Provides the necessary training to signal a crane and to be a designated spotter FOR A CRANE operator if a power line is within the reach of the crane. The course covers the following topics:

  • OSHA Regulations
  • ASME Regulations
  • Hand, Voice and Audible signals
  • Crane dynamics involved in lifting and swinging a load
  • Crane charts and limitations
  • Signal person responsibilities
  • When a signal person is required
  • Clearances from power lines
  • Side loading
  • Two Blocking
  • Tipping
  • Leveling the crane
  • Fall zone
  • Crane failures
  • Crane Hazards
  • 4-6 hr. class including the written exam and oral testing. (AVAILABLE IN SPANISH)
